If you've watched the show you know Bruce went to Japan, and trained under Zatara. My question is, when did those events happen in relation to the movie? Did he return from japan then meet Andrea or did he leave after she left him? Thoughts?

He'd already been to Japan when he met Andrea. Remember, he becomes Batman after she left him. His training had already been done.

First Zatara. Then Japan (he mentions in the Zatara episode that he's going to Japan next). Then Andrea (you already see his fighting skills on display in flashback scenes with Andrea so he must have already been to Japan).
