There are some funny lines in plenty of X Files episodes, only not very many in each of them. However, there is the occassional episode which really focuses on the comedy and I wonder How many are there?
    So far I can remember:
    Humbug (season 2)
War Of The Coprophages (season 3) (although if you ask me, it wasn't as stricly comedy as the others)
Jose Chung's "From Outer Space" (season 3)
Bad Blood (finally saw it yesterday, it was hilarious)
Maybe I've missed some, but these are the very specifically comedic episodes I recall.

I consider the total of Season 9 to be a comedy.

LOVED "Small Potatoes"! Mulder morphing into that homely guy was classic.

"Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster" from Season 10 is a comedy episode, and very good too!

I agree. I also loved the Were-Monster episode.

It's just reminded me that the Season 7 episode "Hollywood AD" is a comedy episode too. Mulder has The X-Files theme as his ringtone in "Were-Monster", presumably it was as a result of the film about them made in "Hollywood AD"!

Is that the one Duchovny's wife Tea Leoni appeared in, along with Gary Shandling? I'll never forget Tea asking Scully how she runs in those heels, and Scully proceeding to show her by running across the room several times - ha.

How The Ghosts Stole Christmas was something of a comedy.

Besides the episodes mentioned- Dreamland I and II, Arcadia, and Je Souhaite.
Syzygy is not a straight comedy episode really, but it is Carter's attempt to do Darin Morgan. I
                          think
Fight Club is supposed to be funny as well, but it's hard to label the episode as anything other than horrible.

I love Arcadia! I thought the end of Fight Club was quite funny. Purely because, once again, Murder got his assessment kicked.
There's Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose, Triangle has its moments as well.

I thought there were a few very funny scenes in Fight Club. It wasn't wonderful but I didn't think it was as bad as some did.

Agreed, it was far from one of the worst episodes.

Clyde Bruckman - one of my favorites. RIP Peter Boyle (I think he won an acting award for this performance).

That one had its funny moments, but I don't consider it a comedy episode, it's more of a tribute to the good ol' creature horrors from the 30's.

I may be wrong but I think PMP is very much a comedic episode.
