Any other running gags

Besides the age of Fran's character can anybody else think of any other running gags that happened in the curse of the series, like in Friends during the curse not the whole run would be Ross and Rachel on a break from when they were dating each other, and Ross keep claiming we were on a break, or even with Everybody Loves Raymond the whole Fruit of the Month club were Ray's parents would bring it up sometimes, or sometimes it would get mentioned in episodes. That one started right in the pilot episode of Everybody Loves Raymond

Some things that served as running gags:
- Val being stupid
- Frans Dad's wig (and overall non-presence)
- Sylvia being inappropriate in the Sheffield house demanding food
- frans strange relatives
- fran and maxwell talking to each other at the stairs and not realizing they were had it all right there
- Niles and CC dissing each other
I am surprised every time I realize they stretched the show to six seasons. They had new gags as time passed but overall it stayed the same. That's why I love the show.

- Grace being precocious and having accurate psychological analyses of the adults (probably from her extensive therapy)
- Niles being bitter about being a servant
- Yetta being senile
- Maxwell being completely out of touch with his feelings
