Do you think they somewhat recycled Sorenson's storyline for Clark to go through? Sorenson loses it over Diane, starts drinking and being an all around jerk. Clark starts to lose it over his dad brings it back then loses it over his doctor girlfriend, he starts drinking and being an all around jerk. Difference is Clark 'loves' to turn it around.

Clark is such a jerk during those episodes! The new boss is a tool!!! So hard to watch..
