I think the best episode is season 6 episode 21 "Voir Dire This" (this maybe a spoiler for some who have not seen it) The performance Ricky Schroder gave in this episode was amazing. You could feel the anger coming off of him at the perverted guy. The care he gave to the kid was felt just as much too. Then when he kissed Diane I was blown away, I had no idea he was going to do that! John's performance was unbelievable well. Even James and Greg had very small parts in this episode but they were great as well. Just an all around great episode. There are many others I think were great but this one really sticks out.
    3 more are excellent episodes
Season 1 episode 13: Abandando Abandoned
Season 6 episode 8: Raging Bulls
Season 10 episode 11: l kid you not

      "Taint Misbehavin'"
A classic one-off episode that contains many vintage moments from Sipowicz as he begrudgingly deals with a dimwitted mope connected to someone who committed a homicide. Also some good scenes with Sorensen, Medavoy, etc.

The final 2 episodes with Jimmy Smits were always my favorite episodes, as they contained brilliant acting and writing on a realistic and ethereal level. They cover events relevant here on Earth and beyond. They also have moments of extreme emotional hardship as well as some funny bits to break the tension.
        Much like life, itself.
The episode with Rick Schroeder is absolutely fantastic and I'd forgotten how great he was in it, as well as his others. He could play strong and wounded beautifully and it seems that because he chooses to act infrequently, he never gets all of the credit that he deserves.

No clue of the season or episode number but the episode after Theo gets a clear bill of health. Andy plays off-type the whole episode being super chipper and happy. Hands down the funniest episode of the show.
No f@cking sh`t lady does it sound like I'm ordering a pizza!
