This is alec baldwins best performance. And the story of two people meeting, loving, marrying and not knowing one another or changing over the years differently. The amazing storyline is Alec living up to the promises to love and honor each other in the mariage vows. He stands by his marriage even when he finds there is nothing that he expected or wanted in his mariage.
