I don't know why I think it's funny, but the line where Ralph Macchio's character was saying: "I shot the clerk?? I shot the clerk??" in disbelieve at what he's being accused off, but later on in the movie the cop at the trial misinterpreted it and thought he was saying that to admit his guilt.

Anyone else find it hilarious when Bill goes "WHOA!!!! Wait a minute!" when he realizes he's being charged with murder? I mean c'mon, the expression on his face is just so friggin' priceless!

Just spent an enjoyable 15 mins going through this thread. The oft quoted stuff sure but there was only one mention of the 'diner menu'. From the first time I saw this film I was determined to try grits (I'm english' & finally had them in new Orleans 3 or 4 years ago. Not impressed.
The one bit no-one mentioned which I thought was subtle and funny was when vinny Having been escorted to the cell, peeled off a couple of bills and tipped the guard 'very New York. -

My favorites:
- The scene where Joe Pesci swears in the courtroom.
- The biological clock.
- The scene where Joe Pesci dressed like a magician in the courtroom, as he knows the judge disliked his leather jacket.

this right here is the most funny part in the whole movie. were vinny first goes into court and the the judge asks vinny if his clients plead is guilty or not guilty and they get into a pissing contest I love it!

This is just by far one of the best comedies ever. I have been cracking up just reading some of the quotes and stuff. But some of the funniest moments are not just what they say, but the looks on their faceslike Joe Pesci's face after he says his biological speech and Marisa Tomei's attitude when she says "oh yeah, you blend"! One of the greatest movies of all time.

Im not gonna read through all of these but here are some of my favs -
Lisa - "What are you a beep world travela?"
Judge - "Two whaat?"
Vinny - "What?"
Judge - "What was that word you just said"
Vinny - "Whatd I say What?"
Judge - "Did you say two Yutes?"
Vinny - "Oh forgive me.. The Two YOUUTHSS"
The look on the Judges face is priceless
Vinny - "Are you aware of the ongoing cholesterol problem in da country?"
Judge - "Didnt I tell you to dress appropriately?"
Vinny - "Yu were serious about dat?"
Cut to him sitting in the jail bus..
Vinny - "Do you think these pants Im wearing are OK?"
Lisa - "Picture this, your a deer prancing around the woods, you get thirsty and go to take a drink from the stream, you bring your deer lips to the cool clear water.. BAMM!! a beep bullet rips off part of your head, pieces of your brain are all over the place now lemme ask you, would you give a beep what kinda pants the son of a bitch who shot you was wearin?"
Fred Gwynne should have won an Oscar for this movie also. Brilliant work.

The look on Fred Gwynne's face while Lisa is testifying about the ignition timing is hilarious.

I'm sorry, but to me the absolute funniest line in the movie is right at the end:
"Oh my Gawd, what a f@cking nightmare!"
Her delivery of that line cracks me up every time!

I agree about the deer hunting scene being very funny. In fact, it's my favorite dialogue in the film. Unfortunately, neither you, nor any of the four previous posters who mentioned the scene, got the dialogue correct. Even in the ' memorable quotes ' section for the film the dialogue isn't completely correct.
