Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — HouseSitter

I won't go "ahead", I am actually having something in common with you. For "some" "apparent" reason, I like 'Housesitter' too. It fits in a not clearly and fully definable category, which also contains, e.g., 'Overboard', 'Tin men' and 'Planes, trains and automobiles'. They're about 'ordinary' people, living 'ordinary lives', but the intrigues are not ordinary at all. Maybe they're silly, but they're presented and played in such a way that I really like them! Perhaps it's because I can really relate to at least one of the main characters.
