so all of you out there who know the military, what would a real life col. jessup do about pvt santiago??keep him and try to train him(as he does in the movie) or stop wasting his time and discharge him??considering how bad santiago is,I would have just washed my hands of him,hes untrainable,a bad influence on the moral of the entire company, and his screwups could endanger the lives of somebody else.
