    I really enjoyed seeing how Chaplin came to be such a fascinating and famous actor, etc. in the motion picture business. But towards the end I noticed how weird the makeup had become. Chaplin didn't look real, but had this almost frozen look on his face that reminded me of someone with a horrible disease. Otherwise, I loved the film.

      I remember watching him at the 1972 academy awards. He did look strange though. Almost like a plastic face. I had no idea at the time that he had been exiled. That was a bigger moment than I had realized at the time
