Just watched this and I'm so impressed by her impeccable acting skills - especially how fit she was. Mind you, she was 69/70 years old when this was done and her role was a little more physical than others: cricket, rolling in the bed in the dead cat episode, etc. In addition, she did not lose her comedic skills with age - I literally burst out laughing on many of her scenes.
I have a sense - and I hope I'm right - that she lived a very fulfilled life. She may not have earned the kind of money American actors earn(sorry, but I refuse to watch crap like Friends), but I hope she was well compensated.

She was very talented and still very funny despite being an old lady when the series was made. I particularly like the way she switches effortlessly from her 'refined' voice to her more 'common' accent!
