Terrible Series - It Killed Every New Actors Career?

I loved the original AYBS but this series was appallingly forced and lacking of any ideas other than the gimmick of "we're on a farm". The whole storylines are just appalling. It also seems that the actors outside of the AYBS stars (ie the Moulterds and Ms. Lovelock) were so tainted by association with this turkey that they were never seen again?
