It was on TV in the UK again the other day and I'm sure they cut the line completely. I remember seeing it on video years ago and was sure he said "f#ck me, he cleared it", whereas for TV I thought they dubbed it to "FLY me, he cleared it". But maybe that was BLIMEY. ho ho.
There was some other line about an Englishwoman's t#ts and that got cut as well.

I remember when it was released in cinemas, it was beep me, and when it was first out on video, it was that too. But every time they show it on TV now and on the extended version DVD it's blimey, although it does sound alot like fly me.

I thought it was "By me!", as in a kind of "by Jove" or "I say!" kind of thing. It sounded much more cute in my head when I thought it was that.

During the commentary of the special edition, both the director and Christian are saying it was the F-word. They could say it once in the entire film, or else it would be PG13 rated.

Actually, the "F" word was not in use during the 1100's.
The first use of the word only dates back to the 1500's.
Apparently, this is the only way I can get this fact put in as a "goof." I have submitted this goof three times and IMBD still won't post it.

I remember the audience I saw it with here in the States enjoyed that line very much. Part of it was the use of the f-word in an otherwise tame-tongue movie, but Christian's delivery made it particularly entertaining.

It's Blimey in the UK version.
However it was delivered as beep me" and is that way in all the rest of the worlds prints in english.
So it's only blimey because of censorship in the UK

MovieMerlin (OP), sorry for your blind insistence that characters in this movie do not swear, but having checked out the extended Blu-Ray myself (United Kingdom release(!)) just now,
Christian Slater definitely says "fhuck me, he cleared it".
. So that's that cleared up.
