this is an utterly winning film.
The characters are likeable, complex, conflicted, and are doing the best they can.
I think the title says it all.
We are all lonely to a degree.
Maureen O'Hara ..probably the loneliest character in the film and that is why she will not let go of her son. The theme of widowhood..gloriously and cleverly handled.
it is obvious at least to me, that the filmmakers are doing a take on "Marty,"
but with a wee bit more gusto and elan.
