      Actually in NYC there are a few places that have leases that are that long for peanuts of what they could be rented for today. I know a post office there has a 25K square foot office with a 99 year lease signed in the 60's for 270 a month.

            not anymore, that old man said he bought it for that cheap in the 50's Clearly money wasn't the same as it is now, he also bought that place in a bad neighbourhood, in a black community which at the time obviously was frowned on.
            Prices, living and culture in the 1950s. or 2010's..
