He is not wrong, you know.
There just has to be an influence of violence on those with guns from violent shoot em up movies.

I read a study that showed people over the age of 32 that smoked marijuana regularly were more likely to have the same brain damage as you, Warren. It was just a study, mind you, but very convincing.

Weren't the columbine rejects inspired by that scene in the basketball diaries of leo dicaprio shooting up his school classroom?

I dunno but yeah, I think I briefly saw that somewhere.
According to the movie Bowling for Columbine they were influenced by Marilyn Manson which I think was a scapegoat and reaching for something to blame it on.

Yes, the Manson stuff was debunked. Bad music doesn't turn you into a mass murderer. Well, maybe Kings of Leon.

There was a lawsuit brought up by the families of these teenagers who attempted suicide against either Iron Maiden or Judas Priest or one of those popular heavy metal bands.
One of the teens succeeded and another one survived.
                The plaintiffs lost.

Yes, I remember Denis Leary did a skit on it from one of his stand up specials. Fact stranger than fiction.
The two boys in Columbine were just a bad combination. If they both went to separate schools it would never have happened. Just the wrong place, wrong time. They tried to pin it on bullying, but if it was really about bullying, they would've killed their tormentors and left everyone else alone. Then they blamed video games and music. That didn't work because millions of other kids listened and played the same **** they did with zero issues.

Was the Kings of Leon comment a joke or did someone really murder after being influenced by them?
I had never really heard them, checked them out and they seem like the type of music I like.
Which reminds me that Charles Manson was influenced to do his killing sprees from listening to The Beatles White Album.
Funny thing is that no one was suggesting back then to boycott or black list The Beatles.
They did that years earlier though when John suggested they were bigger than Jesus Christ, which was a true statement.

Haha, just a joke. I live in the UK. Kings of Leon are an American band but they're most popular over here, like a phenomenon. I swear, there was a time in the early 2010s where everywhere you went, no matter where, someone or someplace was playing Sex on Fire. It made me almost contemplate genocide. Almost haha.
Tbf I only really knew that song. I don't know what their other stuff is like. I like classic rock, 60s to 80s particularly.
ps Lennon was misquoted but he was right. And nobody targeted the beatles because weirdos like Marilyn Manson were an easy target.

                        OK cool.
This is what I found in my search of KoL.
"I like classic rock, 60s to 80s particularly."
Same here and I want to expand my horizons, or my CD collection (Yes, some of us still have them!) into finding more modern acts that have the sound and feel of classic rock.
Stuff that uses real instruments and rocks.
You may cringe at a couple of these but more recent ones I am into for example is Matchbox 20, Oasis, Matthew Sweet, Sarah McLachlan, The Black Keys and Natalie Merchant.
If you have any suggestions you may know of that fits feel free and I am all eyes and ears to give it a try.

Yeah that song wasn't played as much. I remember it now.

Nah I don't cringe. Everybody has their own taste & I respect that.
If you like Oasis, try 'Cast'. They were popular here in the UK at the same time Oasis were.
