this film is filled with so much brilliant imagery its ridiculous.
Yes the acting from the children isn't so great but that is to be expected.
Rarely are children able to deliver a truly strong performance.
The Reflecting Skin is a haunting and poignant film which should be judged along side works of art like Blue Velvet and The Tin Drum. Bravo Phillip Ridley.

You can watch it for free online and see for yourself. Beware, if you don't like David Lynch you won't like this one. It's like Twin Peaks set in Terence Malick's Days of Heaven.

I never thought of it that way but yeah. With a pinch of Cronenberg thrown in

Never mind your "imagery", the depth of the story is what is brilliant about this film.
~ Observe, and act with clarity. ~

It was an ok, bit boring but well made with nice picture and interesting plot film. I can't understand why people call it brilliant. And the ending scene was ridiculous.
