I assume that this meant that he died, given the article Paul sees later, not that he left her first?!
But that's an odd way to put it if a loved one died "When my husband left me, I wasn't prepared"
I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
    Didn't he discover America?
    Penfold, shush.

Annie seemed to love in a fantasy world and thought of men in a romantic sense. It was her hoping men could be like Fabio.

One of my grandmothers lost my granddad early in life when he died of lung cancer. She often spoke of him leaving her. She'd say things like "When your granddad left me like that I didn't know how I'd go on." I've heard some older speak that like that too. I've wondered if my grandma blamed my granddad for his smoking and death.

Wrong, idiot. Annie killed that non-Jew, just like she killed all the non-Jews that appeared in the news clippings that she pasted into her scrapbook
