Is there a widescreen version available?

I loved this movie when I was a wee lass but had completely forgotten about it until a few days ago when I found it on an 8 film horror movie set. My question is if there is a widescreen version of the film. Amazon has a copy listed as being widescreen but I question the accuracy of the info. The pan and scan on the DVD copy I have is actually a bit distracting and I'd love to see this forgotten little piece of action nostalgia in all its glory. Anyone know?
