Does anyone remember this episode? In it, Will goes to the Dean and tries to get the dean to let him drop the class. The dean starts complaining about his life and tells him "registration is closed, you'll have to get the professor's signature." Will says, "There's no way the professor will sign it, is there any other way?" and the Dean says, "Yes there is one way..make it one of your demands when you climb the bell tower with a rifle" and then he starts laughing maniacally.
To me, that is a very dark joke that I am surprised they don't cut out for syndication. Is anyone else surprised that in today's "PC world," that joke stayed in the episode?

Not only that, but the guy who plays Prof. Mansfield came back to play Hillary's producer, notice?
As to that joke being cut for syndication, it depends if the syndicators wish to cut it or not. Usually the show is cut the same way in syndication. Only exception I've ever seen is Nick at Nite/TV Land.
