It's very simple, if you don't want to be stuck with someone you don't like, then don't get her pregnant, gee that took all of about 2 seconds to come up with, really hard, huh?

Bob is a very horny guy who sleeps with many different women. I'm sure when he had sex with Ruth, he didn't intend to impregnate her but accidentally did and his parents forced him to marry her.

Exactly! No excuses for his behavior!
Casual sex is at a person's discretion. Having the child should be up to BOTH parties. If he didn't love her, he shouldn't have married her.
If he fell out of love with her (even though he clearly stated that he never did love her), he should have divorced her. Cheating is never acceptable. He was a slime.

My mom always gave my older brother and me this advice: don't lay down with just anybody. You could get stuck with them for life, whether you want to be or not.
