Did Gil go back to work for Dave?

Dave was such a d*ck towards Gil, especially rubbing it in his face about all the new clients the other guy Phil brought in, and bragging how he "doesn't tell me about problems with his kids!" However, he was right about one thing that if Gil went to another company he'd have to compete with longer and/or younger employees who'd be willing to work for less money.
In the end, we know that Karen had their new baby despite Gil initially being unhappy about it, but I wonder if he actually did "crawl back to work and kiss Dave's feet and get my crappy job back!" (p.s. when I was a kid I actually pictured him doing that literally lol, still makes me laugh to think about it!)
If he did, I hope Dave was at least a little more understanding about how important his family was to him. It looked like Gil was an important part of the business and not just another employee, if Dave didn't at least attempt to get him back, it shows what kind of boss he really was. With having yet another mouth to feed, they would've definitely needed more income. -

I believe in the scene where they're all getting ready to go to taylor's snow white play, gill said he went back to work for dave because dave called him crying and offered to give him a bigger office and a raise. I still felt sorry for gill though because that job seemed awful but he needed the income because of the new baby.

I agree, Gil said he went back because Dave begged him. I don't think things were going to be awful for him. He was upset that he had been working his ass off and not getting recognized appropriately. With Dave begging him to come back, he has power he knows that he is crucial to the firm and Dave knows it. He is going to get the recognition he wanted at least a hefty raise. The partnership, I'm not sure.

Yes, watch the scene that occurs right before they go to Taylor's performance. Gil mentions that Dave called and offered him a better position with the company and Gil took it because he was still high on the ballgame where Kevin made the winning play.
