The laugh right before the ending credits sounds almost exactly like the laugh at the end of the Michael Jackson song "Thriller." Did anybody notice that?

It is indeed Vincent Price's laugh from "Thriller." It's part of Kool Moe Dee's "Let's Go."
In the full song, it goes
[Woman's Voice] So tell me, how do you feel about "Jack the Ripper"?

So Vincent Price is sort of in a Nightmare on Elm Street film. That's pretty cool.
