Mollie put too much trust in James

I know this is just a movie but Mollie didnt even know James that well and she allowed him to babysit lil Mikey and she trusted a stranger to be alone with her newborn baby, now a new mother wouldnt TRUST anyone to be alone with her baby, not even the real father of the child lol but James turned out to be a good guy but it dont always turn out that way in real life.

I totally agree! Do cab drivers have to go through some kind of background criminal check before being licensed? Maybe that's why she was trusting of him (that coupled with the fact that he brought her purse back), but even then, it is still extremely unbelievable that she would ever leave him alone with her baby without knowing him better or doing some kind of reference check. Still a great movie, though.

The odd part is when James takes Mikey to the airport. She punches him upon his return but seems fine after the splinter. This cab driver that you hardly know just took your baby out in the city while you slept.
