I'm just curious about something. Why is it always about the U.S. with people like you? The U.S. didn't start the war, nor were the only country involved. Including the U.S. and South Vietnam, 11 countries fought against the North and their allies. Why do you only object to U.S. involvement?
Hell, why don't you object to the fact the North invaded the South? It seems to bother you more that the U.S. was involved rather than the fact that the North invaded another free country.

Maybe it's because the US deliberately interfered with democratic elections that would have united Vietnam under Ho Chi Minh, and propped up a puppet dictator in the south for years. Could it be?

You're not making wherever you're from look any better by posting such nonsense. Not that you'd divulge where that might be anyway, or come back to defend your post.

Got nothing to do with the US people its the government that's been overtaken and overly influenced by certian people and corporations in high places who have a certian agenda they want to obtain. Not to mention they profit off war everytime well sending the common public off to fight. If you look at the reason we really went to Vietnam and not what's in the history book in school you see it does intact go back to a very covert part of the government.
Unfortunately the American people are in general are a good people and a people who want to do the right thing.Unfortunately due to thier guiliableness it has led to these people taking over the nation and doing what they please with it.There is no such thing as a America for and by the people anymore. Its now a America that supports big business and criminals don't believe me look at the bail outs.Look at Iraq and Afghanistan 2 mordern day Vietnams.Over there fighting a bunch of poor people again.
Except this time it's not communism it's terrorism a new facasade they can carry on to due thier bidding n scare the American people into foolishly believing for thier Owen personal gain.

You should ask ex-president George W. Bush. Failed to respond to warnings about the 9/11 attack, started and never resolved two wars that he put 100% on the national credit card. Now his party is screaming that the country is broke; well, duh, yeah.

Actually Clinton completely ignored the warnings that came through in the 90's with events such as the WTC bombing in 1993 when that PIG democrat was in office. Back then also intelligence knew of Bin Laden and we could've had him and Clinton decided to let him go. MANY people dropped the ball but it really goes back much farther than President Bush. Check your history. Read interviews from FBI, CIA, and military intelligence- MANY people knew what was coming and tried to get the administration to take things seriously, but never did.
