when ursula finds out what leon did to stan and comes running in with an axe, we assume she kills leon but, at the end she goes to see him and he's in a wheelchair. so do we assume that she cut off his legs or what?

She did and Leon did turned into Pin. Since Pin can't move, he just sits there and will be like that forever, thats why theres a nurse/or whatever you call care person at the end. Also in the beginning the kid gets scared because he thought it was a dummy that was at the window sill but it was Leon.

What I got from the ending.
Ursula chopped up PIN and Leon was so devastated by the loss of PIN that he becomes PIN himself.

She "killed" PIN and because pin was physically gone, Leon then physically became like himto keep pin "alive".
I thought that was pretty obvious.
