When they
get covered in the same cake that killed the theme park security guard in the end,
does that mean they die?
It looked like it was supposed to be a comic relief but i don't think this one has a happy ending. Plus all those
"popcorn-clowns" that did not die in the explosion at the end.

I only caught this on my second viewing, somehow.
Considering there's a confirmed sequel with Mike surviving,
I'm pretty sure they weren't acid pies.
At the time, though, with no sequel in sight, I'm pretty sure it might've originally been intended that way.

Yeah, when the credits starts rolling, that's the only thing I could think, they should have showed a scene after the credits with their melted bodies as some kind of sick joke
