You know, I've seen all this hype about how it's 'the funniest movie ever' yet I didn't laugh once throughout the entire movie.
I mean, are there other people out there that did not find this movie as funny as it is hyped to be? -

No, I think you're the only one. Oh my God, I was physically debilitated, like literally lying on the floor in front of the tv laughing so hard the first time I saw it! No exaggeration, this is one of the few times you've ever seen someone on their back in hysterics. You should have seen me, I looked like an absolute loony.

Mrs. CutOut, I wish I'd been at that slumber party I truly got a hernia, I mean like truly bust a gut. From the first scene to the last And when Kevin sucked up that boot and smelt his stinky pits, I was done for, toast, finished, laughing to hard to do anyhing but try to breath.
How could you NOT laugh at this movie?

I've seen it a few times, and while I don't laugh (The first couple of times i was literally convulsing) as much now, I admire it even more as a film for its truly brilliant writing.

Let's calm down and take deep breaths.yoga does wonders also! I think this movie was a riot too, especially the part where John Cleese is trying to rob his own house.oh man , now that is wild!!!

Michael Palin played the part of Ken who stutters correct,Qtaran? In his Imdb Trivia. It said that his dad had a bad stutter. I felt bad for the Ken character too but after reading it I felt a little better about myself laughing at the stutter. If say Will Ferrell played the guy with the stutter I wouldnt have laughed

In 1989, Ole Bentzen, a Danish audiologist, died laughing while watching A Fish Called Wanda. His heart was estimated to have beaten at between 250 and 500 beats per minute, before he succumbed to cardiac arrest.
This will be the high point of my day; it's all downhill from here. -

Yes, this is film is not very funny. Humour just too obvious, predictable situations, vulgar slapstick and visual gags. Generally aimed at low- or middlebrow audiences, like most film comedies - because that's where the money is.
It's significant that people abuse those who don't like this film by saying they must prefer even more lowbrow comedies. No, we hate those even more than this. We prefer cleverer comedy.
