Madonna should stick with comedy

Madonna always has to pick these cheesy dramas to "act" in, which usually end up as flops, but when she does comedy, the woman is hilarious! I think comedy is an easier form of acting, it's fun and doesn't require much seriousness. Drama really takes talent and is easy to screw up, a single line said without feeling and the movie is a downfall. Let's face it, Madonna is a great singer but a terrible actress. Everyone has figured this out but her. But somehow the minimal comedy that she's done is absolutely great. Appearances like on "Saturday Night Live" and "Will and Grace" were very funny and in interviews, she seems like a very witty and humourous person. So when it comes to acting, she should drop the drama and keep us laughing.

Dragontatt5,
I agree. She really missed her calling by not doing more comedic roles. However, she said she has given up acting, which must make a lot of people happy. LOL

Like I said in my original post, I liked the Will and Grace episode. Her performance was stiff and vacant because that was the character she was playing, a vapid superficial nitwit that was supposed to be the polar opposite of Karen because they were sharing an apartment together, but ended up being too much alike. People who don't know each other, but decide to move in together, usually ends up being a disaster. I thought it was hilarious. Whether you agree or disagree is totally up to you. All I'm saying is that she's better at comedy than she is at drama. And I don't care what awards or recognition she received, Evita was a stupid movie.
