    This is one of the most iconic movies of the '80s. How it couldn't be in the Top 250 is beyond me.

      I too am surprised that its cumulative rating is only a 7.4 (as of Feb 2016). This film excels in so many ways, and it has a cult following amongst people who work in the financial industry.

          It's a good movie, but I wasn't blown away by it.
          That said, it's more deserving of a spot in the 250 over several of the films that are floating around in there.

            The Top 250 was fairly reasonable before every 12 year old got online and voted up every Pirates of the Caribbean and XMen film. Today Jaws is on the verge of falling off and the latest flash-in-the-pan film that will be in the 8 dollar BluRay bin by next weekend is in the top 20. By the time that kid has a driver's license the film will either be forgotten or an embarrassment to him.
