Being originally from New York, I thought I had a pretty good handle on the subway lines and Els. I can't seem to remember just what stop or what # or letter train runs through the scene when Mike is meeting his son under the El and the villian is across the street watching them from his car. Can anyone remember what stop that is? Of course only someone from New York or a resident should be able to help me out on this one , this has been driving me bananas for quite some time now. thanks for the info

It is the 45 Road/Court Square Station of the #7 train in Queens, where 45 Road meets 23 Street and Jackson Avenue.
Coming from Manhattan, it is the sixth station on the line, and the third in Queens. The reason for the high-pitched screeching you hear in the movie is because at that point the track curves sharply in that area. The station prior to the Court Square Station, Hunters Point, is an underground subway stop. Once the train leaves that station, the tunnel ends and the now exterior tracks rise to become elevated tracks. As the train levels off and completes the curve, it enters the station in the movie (the first elevated stop on the line).
Incidentally, I happen to know that many other films as well as tv shows and commercials have been filmed at that location. The area, Long Island City, has become quite popular in the last few years, and is widely regarded as "up and coming." One movie I recently caught on cable, Mind the Gap, features a female guitarist playing in the same location under the train, and living in the same neighborhood.
      Hope the info helps.
