Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2

Well here it is,the moment fans have been waiting for,a behind the scenes interview of how this film came to be made and yes finally and interview with Eric Freeman, who explains in all details about his role in the film. You might even be surprised to read what he had to say about it.He even said that the original "Garbage Day" scene that he originally did it in with a Clint Eastwood Tone, and the inexperienced directors kept telling him to do it over the top.Pretty much like they told him to do all of his scenes. He even chuckled and said that there aren't that many performances as awful as that.He also says that he has made peace with the film and his role in it over the years.Enjoy!!

Anytime.I actually found it by accident, and I figured people wanted to read about it.There's also stuff on part 1 as well as 3,4,5 on that site too.

yeah i'm going to read that later. people make fun of eric freeman for his acting but i like it. he played it like a crazy person. man i wish he was in part 3.
i like many wondered what happened to him. i'm glad he's okay. i think he said in the interview he'd do it again if asked. its late here, a little tired but something like that. i hope he appears at a convention or in a remake

He even said that the original "Garbage Day" scene that he originally did it in with a Clint Eastwood Tone
What happened was that he intended to say "Go ahead, make my day," but while the camera was rolling he suffered a stroke and what came out of his mouth was "Garbage Day."
