Anyone else remember the scene where Bill takes RDJ to a motel room to trick w an asian man. And RDJ sneaks out while he is on the pay phone to Rip??
Did I just miss it in my last 2 viewings, or is it not in the dvd release?

There is a scene in the editor's cut where Jamie Gertz's character is doing Uncle Kurt, the rich uncle of Julian. Actually there were several such scenes. One right before he meets Julian in the car dealership to give him a ride to the club in which he wanted him to invest.
As another side note the affair was real outside he movie. Gertz was doing the guy right up until she married that bond trader, Renner. The rumor is she blew the guy right before she took her vows.

So you do remember this scene then? Do you know of any place I could buy, or see the Director's cut? I even looked for the scene om youtube, but came up empty.

The scene with Julian at the motel is included in Esquire Channel's tv version which has aired twice so far this November. For some strange reason I watched it both times.

This movie needs to be remade with all the sleazy scenes most can't take! The book is amazing I'm sure and would love to see the follow-up,
"Imperial Bedrooms!"
