Oh for ****s sake are you still yammering about THAT? Do you even know how many of those type of gut piles I have left? Zero. Down where I am at you have to know people with land who are willing to let you on to hunt. I dont. So while I'd love to go hunting and spent a bunch on rifle and ammo I still havent even had a chance. Now this year might be different. I might get to finally get to go deer hunting this fall. But in the area I will be hunting the thing most likely to find the gut pile is the coyotes.

Then continue to use your lead ammuntion and poison your environment.
If only coyotes find gut piles then all is fine, isn't it?
The
"bunch on rifle and ammo"
you only store on your shelf, right?
Endangerment of Wild Animals
Large scavenging birds such as white-tailed eagles, Steller's sea eagles and California condors are threatened worldwide by lead poisoning. According to an estimate by the ECHA, around one to two million land birds die from lead poisoning in the EU every year.
The main source is the bowels of animals killed with lead bullets.
Groundwater Hazard Example USA
The US Armed Forces had to close many firing ranges due to lead leaching into groundwater.
The cost of cleaning up this environmental damage was estimated at $9 billion in 2009.
Groundwater Hazard Example Switzerland
In Switzerland, shooting range floors contain around 30,000–40,000 tons of lead.
By 2020 around 2,500 civilian shooting ranges had to be renovated. Together with the army firing ranges, the cost of rehabilitation is estimated at 1 billion Swiss Francs.

Sorry, I'm still
"yammering"
though I'm neither a
Dem
nor against hunting.

If people don't want to think voluntarily, they need laws that restrict their beloved
'freedom'
.
"Gute Jäger sind Heger."

Good hunters shoot lead-free.
