Years after watching this movie and finding certain things disturbing early on and then thinking otherwise later, something that never bothered me before, but does now is a part in the drawbridge scene. The whole bit when the woman crashes through the windshield of the red car didn't make sense whatsoever. Many things in this movie had no logic, but this stood out to me. First of all, did this car have brakes? Secondly, how did the car go straight down the hill in that direction when the car should have been facing the other way? The bridge was going up, the car should have either went down backwards. It shouldn't have went in the direction it did. What's even more puzzling is the impact. Sure, the woman wasn't wearing a seatbelt, but how the heck could she have crashed through the windshield when the car wasn't even going fast on impact with the opening in the bridge? One final note; was the driver/guy in the car able to escape the car before the other van crushed it? Not sure why this all bothers me now, but it kind of weighs on my mind. The crashing through the windshield part was sort of disturbing to me.

Ever wondered why it was called Stephen Kings "moron movie"?

Yeah, who knows what's going on with that shot; all of the cars seem to be facing the wrong way. I'm going to guess there was a moment when people started trying to turn around and drive off, and it got snipped.
Her getting shot out of the windshield at that speed doesn't look totally crazy to me, though. The speed plus gravity could add up to more force than you'd think. (Although that is also the most easily broken windshield in history, ha ha.) As to whether the driver escaped I'd assume not, but you're right, they never show you.

The guy falling from the bike was kinda strange too
But the scene was amazing, did they really did that for real? Like, a real truck falling from the bridge? It doesnt look like miniatures or something!

Yeah, that part was a little far fetched
