      I'm pretty sure there never was such a thing as the "Queen Jane shilling." She was queen for only nine days (1019 July 1553), hardly enough time to have a shilling minted, even a shilling prototype.

        I don't think there ever was one struck, just another historical mistake in the movie. Plus the idea of a "shilling worth a shilling" totally disregards the problem of inflation & basic economics! 😉
