Well im in the UK and this is only out in the US on Blu-ray so I bought a Blu-ray player where I can play any blu-rays from the world in, got this and I have to say im pretty disappointed.
Its beyond basic, it does not even have a menu or title screen, as soon as you put the Blu-ray in the movie starts after showing a bit of writing.
They have not really done a basic clean up to make it look much better than the dvd, its very grainy and you can still see loads of artifacts.
I know this is not a major movie but they could have done a better job with the picture, even my dvd version I play in my Blu-ray player where it upscales it to 1080p looks either on par or a tad better with less grain.
Love the movie and yes im glad for the Blu-ray, just disappointed in the quality -

oh trust me its far better than the VHS version even the dvd is better than the vhs version infact every dvd version of anything is better than it was on VHS
simply because its a digital copy of the original film.
but the bluray is not that much better than the dvd, its a barebones conversion and is not as crisp as it should be specially the night time scenes which there are plenty in this movie.
I can live with it as im a fan its just a shame when there are so many horrid made for tv movies on bluray that look fantastic and this is not so great.
The lack of menu is pretty irritating when say you put the disc in and you want to go to the loo or get a drink etc etc it means you have to wait for the movie to come on to then pause itnot a big deal but it would not have cost anything to just have a basic menu with scene selection
