      Yes! I've seen this movie sooo many times, and that's the scene that I think of first when I think of the movie, and it always tears me up & I too get the big cheezy grin - it was just great! I love the black guy (he seemed familiar to me too.) who passes on "I love ya!" I had the biggest crush on Mick when I was a kid - seeing this movie recently after having not seen it for many years, I was suprised at how good this still is, and how hot Paul Hogan was 🙂

              One of the loveliest, funniest, wonderful and romantic feel-good endings of any film in my honest opinion. Add the incredbly well-done musical score that evokes the audience even more.

                definitely, the sequence is hilarious, heartwarming and leaves me with a huge grin on my face. One of my favorite endings ever. Bit intense too.
