I find her unattractive (especially with that hair) and she dresses weird and is rather boring! I just don't find her appealing.

I felt she was a cross between Wendy and Jules. More adventurous than Wendy but less out of control than Jules. I liked her - her
and
her haircut.

She was considered very good looking at the time, but really, those guys fighting over say a Brooke Shields type wouldn't have been believable, because Alec was a dog and neither he nor Kevin were exactly BMOC types.

It's Ally Sheedy, that's why. I agree her haircut in this movie was not appealing, but she's still an attractive woman. (I've had a crush on her ever since WarGames.)

Her hair was very in-store in 1985. Every girl in my high school, including me, had the bi-level feathered look. And I've always thought Mare Winningham is adorable!

What is it with you people and this hair business? If anyone had awful hair, it was Jules. All teased out and curled. Blech. Even fat ugly Wendy had much nice hair than gorgeous glamourous Jules.
And Ally Sheedy was very cute back in the day. Not gorgeous, not a stunner, but cuuuuuute. Cute goes a long way. At least six inches.
I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

Well, Leslie seemingly had it all together. She was successful, smart, mature, confident, etc.
Jewels was a complete mess and Wendy had zero self esteem. So out of the bunch see was the most appealing to the guys.
