Widescreen, and the color looks restored. I have loved this movie since seeing it at a co-op showing in college. The ending! Also, the scene at sunrise just before entering the city , when they are both morphing, and their eyes meet and their fingertips come so close bit too late - Navarre's agonized cry is absolutely heart wrenching.
Rutger Hauer is a very underestimated actor. His performance in this film, and esp, Blade Runner (OMG, his final monologue. ..), seems to emanate from his soul and put through his eyes.
