Ryan Reynolds, although I also like Jason Lee - the dudes even look alike.
Definately not Will Farrell, he's the same guy in every movie, just in a different costume

Agree wit the fact that this should NOT be remade.
It would be a lame remake. No need!!!!
That would make 3 Christmas' I've saved, vs. 8 that I've ruined; two were kind of a draw..
