The Faltermeyer score really dates it.

you could say that but on the other hand don't we want to feel like we are back in 1984/ '85 again when we watch it? that is the great thing with the movies as they age is the "feel of the time" at least I think so.

Agreed, fxdiamond, very well put. That's exactly how I feel about watching old movies, especially 80s movies. (And yikes, 80s movies qualify as "old" now. Not, like, sorta/kinda, just straight up OLD! When did that happen??) Admittedly, I'm a nut for Fletch's synth theme, so I'm inclined to defend it. If I could walk around all day with that song following me, I'd be fine with that.

You think I didn’t know that? It’s pretty obvious how you keep on replying to me (In about 8 different threads) just to have the last word - that’s the whole point. I’ll make sure that never happens though since I’m the only one on these boards to usually have the last word. You’re one sensitive and emotional rapist.
Also, Apparently you do give a **** if you replied to my post, idiot.
You really never made sense.
Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.
