why did they spend so much time on that story? he was init fir like 5 minutes and then they went on like he was a fan favourite and dragged his death out for months, not to mention the acting from the carters was dreadful

they do it a lot nowadays really, bring in a new character, centre several months worth of storylines around them before making them leave or killing them off
