    So.. ever since 80s I was convinced that this movie from 1984 was related to Chris de Burgh's famous song. Any time this song in on radio, I think how I have to watch this movie, which I never seen in my life until today.

    It ain't. Chris made his song in 1986. His song has no connection to this movie whatsoever.

On the British TV series This Is Your Life, de Burgh said that the song was inspired by the memory of when he first saw Diane, and how men so often cannot even remember what their wives were wearing when they first met
