Another thread deals with when SOF is supposed to be set possibly in an "alternative reality." I've always thought it was set in the afterlife.
Two facts: (1) Everyone is a young adult no children, old people, or even middle-aged. (According to some traditional beliefs, everyone in Heaven is 33 years old, the age of Jesus' crucifixion.) These people are living outside of time.
(2) For all the violence, no one actually dies, or even appears to be permanently injured; even Raven at the end is being carried away like he will recover.
So is this a sort of rock-n-roll Valhalla? People spend their eternity going to rock concerts and having adventures and whatever happens, they get better, go to more concerts, and have more adventures.
Just a thought. -

Not trying to get into religion but "tradition" does not equate "biblical". And I've never read that passage in any bible, lol! We will have "incorruptible" bodies and there will be no marriage and no sadness. But I like your theory(for a fictional movie version)though
