I think Saavik looks a lot more like him(and I've always thought so).

I was always bugged by Robin Curtis' hairstyle during her portrayals as Saavik. I don't want to turn this into a "I wish that Kirstie Alley continued to play Saavik" argument. I'm assuming that the women having mullets and perms (or "femullet") was in style back in the '80s, but it just severely dates the movies whenever she's on-screen. Alley's Saavik in
          Wrath of Khan
had a more timeless, not so contemporary, and more dare I say, "professional" (instead of trendy) look.
The funny thing is that Uhura's afro in
          The Motion Picture
(Nichelle Nichols never sported a "natural" hairstyle on
          The Original Series
) seemed to be a dead give away that it was a "'70s movie".

Anyone who thinks Nichelle Nicols has EVER looked like Michael Jackson needs to be on psych meds immediately!!

The make-up choices approved for her in this film are scary. The "darken the sides of the nose and highlight the bridge to make it look thinner" trick is comically apparent here:
