Paris, Texas is one of maybe 10 films I consider FLAWLESS. It's frightening in its beauty, fragility of its characters, and the way the story of their heartbreaks are conveyed. I understand it's not for everyone, it's long, not a lot happens plot-wise, but it's one of the most human stories ever told on film. 10.

I fully agree. This is one film where I can say is very "American," even though it was directed by a European. Wenders's vision of the American West and the portrayal of the middle class family was very accurate.
I'm sure Paris, Texas will be seen by more film aficionados and therefore receive more recognition. Thanks to the Criterion Collection for releasing an excellent copy, both on DVD and Blu-Ray.
The dust has come to stay. You may stay or pass on through or whatever. -

LOL at you worthless POS morons who live and die by the IMDb ratings when no one else in the real world pays any attention to those.
You just showed all of the real world that you're a POS moron. And one with childish taste in films as well.
