I love all 4 movies(yes, even Kingdom), but Temple has always been my favorite. The sidekick, the screaming damsel in distress, the set pieces etcthis is everything a tribute to 30s adventure movies should be. Raiders is a classic, Last Crusade is awesome, but to me this is easily one of the most entertaining films I have ever seen and to be honest it was this movie that made me love Indy as a kid.

I am just shocked. This movie is sooo bad. The main actress is horrible and the kid has got to be one of the more annoying side kicks ever. Not to mention the insanely ridiculous airplane inflatable boat scene, the story is just stupid. Better than Ark and Crusade?!?!? What are you people smoking?

It's supposed to be ridiculous! These movies are big budget tributes to the larger than life cheesy adventure movies and serials of the 30s and 40s. Suspend your displeif and sit back and enjoy the tongue in cheek adventure story

I love Temple. And I agree with everything you said. Each movie has their strengths. It's hard for me to choose this over Crusade because the chemistry between Ford and Connery was so good. And I too liked Crystal Skull.

The mine cart scene was the most unique scene of the series.
I still don't know how it was done.
IMDb will shut down all its message boards on 20 Feb. 2016, likely due to PC fatigue and a "negative" climate.
Farewell all. I enjoyed the thoughtful and funny comments.
