Since many book to movie adaptations have been making their way to the big screen in recent years, how come these Stephen King stories haven't kicked-off like modern adaptations have?
No one seemed to care about the Carrie remake with Chloe Moretz. Do they just need to more faithful to King's adaptations or what needs to happen for all his stories to be on the big screen and make people inrested?

I don't think anyone really wanted a remake of Carrie.
There was a lot of buzz over an IT remake, but that has been put on hold.
I think if they adapt some of his new stories, or go back to the ones that could use a new film, like some of his TV mini series, people will be on board and interested.
