There are two scenes where Sarah is playing the record player in their old house; how does the record player run; who is paying the electric bill; is "he who walks behind the rows" writing out checks to Iowa power co., is he using an early 1983 version of online bill pay on a Commodore 64 or an Apple II computer or is the corn magically providing the power?

Maybe not enough time had gone by yet for the electric company to turn it off for non-payment. Lol
I do love all the questions about details that so many people can't get past to enjoy the movie.
